Regarding russia's plans to hold pseudo-referendums

Comment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine regarding Russia's plans to hold pseudo-referendums in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine
Ukraine is closely following the intentions of the Russian Federation to conduct the so-called "referendums" in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
Such fake plebiscites will not have any legal consequences. They will not change the administrative-territorial structure and internationally recognized borders of Ukraine.
Ukraine and the international community do not recognize these referendums, considering them illegitimate and without legal consequences.
We consider the intention to hold pseudo-referendums and the forced passportization of residents of the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories as another attempt by Russia to legitimize the consequences of its war of aggression against Ukraine.
No matter how many illegitimate polls the Russian Federation holds in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, there will be only one result: all Ukrainian regions will be freed from Russian occupation, and the Russian leadership will be brought to justice for organized terror, war crimes and crimes against humanity on Ukrainian soil.
Persons involved in the organization and holding of pseudo-referendums will be subject to criminal proceedings, and the competent authorities of Ukraine will take measures to track them down and bring them to justice. Ukraine calls on international partners to strongly condemn the intention of the Russian Federation to hold an illegal vote in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, impose new sanctions on Russia, and recognize it as a state sponsor of terrorism.

Україна уважно слідкує за намірами Російської Федерації провести т.зв. «референдуми» на тимчасово окупованих територіях України.
Такі фейкові плебісцити не матимуть жодних юридичних наслідків та не змінять адміністративно-територіального устрою та міжнародно визнаних кордонів України. Ані Україна, ані міжнародна спільнота не визнають їхні нікчемні результати.
Розглядаємо наміри провести псевдореферендуми, так само як і примусову паспортизацію мешканців тимчасово окупованих українських територій, як чергову спробу Росії легітимізувати наслідки своєї агресивної війни проти України.
Скільки не проводила б РФ незаконних голосувань на тимчасово захоплених територіях України, результат буде один: всі українські території будуть звільнені від російської окупації, а російське керівництво буде притягнуте до найсуворішої відповідальності за організований терор, воєнні злочини та злочини проти людяності на українській землі.
Особи, які будуть організовувати псевдореферендуми, стануть об’єктом кримінальних проваджень, компетентні органи України вживатимуть заходи щодо їхнього розшуку та притягнення до відповідальності.
Україна закликає міжнародних партнерів рішуче засудити намір РФ провести протиправне голосування на тимчасово окупованих територіях України, накласти нові санкції на Росію та визнати її державою-спонсором тероризму.

A Ucrânia está a seguir de perto as intenções da Federação Russa de conduzir chamados “referendos” nos territórios temporariamente ocupados da Ucrânia.
Esses plebiscitos falsos não terão consequências legais. Eles não mudarão a estrutura administrativo-territorial nem as fronteiras internacionalmente
reconhecidas da Ucrânia.
A Ucrânia e a comunidade internacional não reconhecem esses referendos, considerando-os ilegítimos e sem consequências legais.
Consideramos a intenção de realizar pseudo-referendos e o passaporte forçado de residentes dos territórios ucranianos temporariamente ocupados como mais uma tentativa da Rússia de legitimar as consequências de sua guerra de agressão contra a Ucrânia.
Não importa quantas eleições ilegítimas a Federação Russa realize nos territórios temporariamente ocupados da Ucrânia, haverá apenas um resultado: todas as regiões ucranianas serão libertadas da ocupação russa e a liderança russa será levada à justiça por terrorismo organizado, crimes de guerra e crimes contra a humanidade em solo ucraniano.
As pessoas envolvidas na organização e realização de pseudo-referendos estarão sujeitas a processos criminais, e as autoridades competentes da Ucrânia tomarão medidas para localizá-las e levá-las à justiça. A Ucrânia pede aos parceiros internacionais que condenem veementemente a intenção da Federação Russa de realizar uma votação ilegal nos territórios temporariamente ocupados da Ucrânia, que imponham novas sanções à Rússia e que a reconheçam como um Estado patrocinador do terrorismo.
